In January 2018, BULPROS announced the new Jabborate version for the latest IBM Connections 6. Its main goal is to meet the increasing business need for an efficient communication in large communities. It adds new functionalities and extends existing, easing the collaboration furthermore.

There are various extended features such as the User Hover card, which now offers the possibility to show additional information: office location, office position, job title and phone numbers.

The Jabborate 2.1 for IBM Connections features are:
- contact groups can be created from IBM Connections 6 communities;
- faster logging and support of thousands of contacts (Pagination);
- single Sign On;
- improved user hovercard, displaying the information for: building, floor, office, office number, IP telephony number, mobile number, job title;
- improved search performance and visualization of results;
- contacts, call and chat history tabs available for quick access;
- adding a master sections in Jabborate roaster: communities, group chats, network contacts, other contacts.
